Inventory: Adding new products to Mintsoft

When creating a new SKU in Mintsoft, please remember that you are responsible for the data held in your products. such as weight, carton information, price and size.
If you do not have the information available at the time of creating the SKU's, you must enter them manually at a later date.

1.  Uploading New products via CSV

In Mintsoft go to the products overview page and click on upload products:




















  1. Click Download Template to get the CSV template.

  2. Fill in the CSV, there are many columns in the CSV, you will need to complete as many columns as possible.

  3. Information in the following columns is required

  • SKU.

  • Name.

  • Description

  • EAN Barcode.

  • UPC Barcode.

  • Commodity Code.

  • Customs Description.

  • Country of Manufacture.

  • Weight

  • Height.

  • Length.

  • Depth.

  • Price


4. Click Choose File and select your CSV.
5. Click Upload.




2. Adding a Single New Product

1. In Mintsoft, go to Products and then Add New Product:

2. Fill out the fields on the 'General' Tab:

  1. SKU
  2. EAN Barcode
  3. UPC Barcode
  4. Name
  5. Description
  6. Customs Description
  7. Country of Manufacture
  8. Commodity Code
3. Fill out the fields on the 'Pricing & Size' Tab:

  1. Weight - KG
  2. Height - CM
  3. Length - CM
  4. Depth - CM
  5. Price
  6. Cost Price
4. You then have the option to fill out any 'Extra Details' such as: if you want a low stock alert. Units per parcel, any specific packing instructions for that product. You can also add any information on the Hazardous details tab if applicable.

5. Click Next
