Goods in Rules


1. Booking in

Containers:

All containers must be booked in at least 2 weeks before the required delivery date.


Please email our Customer Service Team: Email adress: support@ogdenfulfilment.co.uk

providing the following details:

1. Company name you are booking in for
2. Size of container
3. ASN number
4. Required date and time of delivery
Your email will then be processed by our goods in team and you will be sent a booking confirmation with the confirmed time and date.

Pallets:

All pallets must be booked in at least 48 hours before the required delivery date.

3. ASN number
4. Required date and time of delivery
Your email will then be processed by our goods in team and you will be sent a booking confirmation with the confirmed time and date

Loose Cartons:

If you are sending in 1-9 cartons, no booking in is required

For 10+ cartons - these must be booked in at least 48 hours before the required delivery date.

WarningPLEASE NOTE: Goods must arrive in single SKU cartons, for Mixed SKU Cartons, there will be an additional fee as we will need to sort the stock.  This would be classed as our  Premium Goods In service and will be charged at our hourly rate.


2. ASN 


Before booking in, you should have already raised your ASN on Mintsoft, if not, you will need to raise one now and email your ASN number through to 
support@ogdenfulfilment.co.uk
(for help with creating your ASN, please see Article: Goods in: Creating an Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) ).  You will be able to track your delivery into us using the tracking number your shipper provided.  

3. Stock delivered

We will process your delivery and accept it into stock within 48 hours of arrival, you can monitor the status of your ASN by the delivery statuses (as below)

Please be aware that if we do not have the ASN on Mintsoft at the time of arrival it could delay the goods in process.



4. ASN Delivery Status Meanings:

  • Awaiting Delivery: The ASN has been created and we are awaiting your delivery to arrive.

  • Delivered: The shipment was delivered but has not been processed yet.

  • Partially Booked: This status is used for two things, we are processing your delivery but it has not been delivered in full so we are still awaiting the remainder to be delivered, or if there is an issue with your ASN, in this scenario, we will accept the stock that we have and is correct but will not accept the items that there is an issue with, we would then email you to inform you of the issue.

  • Booked In: All the stock has successfully been booked in.

  • Complete : The ASN has been completed and the stock is now available to order from

  • Cancelled: The shipment has been cancelled.


5. Goods in Services

We offer 2 different checking in services, Standard Goods In and Premium Goods in.

Standard goods in: We will check the number of cartons/pallets received against the ASN without opening the cartons and checking inside, this includes all container deliveries.


     Premium Goods in:  We will count the individual SKU's against the ASN.  This service will be charged at our hourly rate


6. Additional Information

  • Premium goods in will continue to be charged at the hourly rate.

  • Standard goods in will continue to be charged with the standard goods in pricing, however if goods do not arrive in correctly (see extra comments below) the shipment will automatically change to premium goods in.

  • None arrival of Shipping containers will be charged for at 100% of the price


  1. Goods must arrive in single SKU cartons, unless clearly labelled with all SKU numbers on the outside of the master carton


Alert

Pallets must come in wrapped safely in clear recyclable wrap.  Any delivery that arrives in black (or non-recyclable) wrap will be charged a disposal charge of £6.33 per carton/pallet.
Any pallets that are considered unsafe to unload will be rejected.
